The Möhnesee The Möhnesee is best known outside Germany for the Dam Busters Raid in 1943. The main dam, which is located at the western end of the valley, heads a lake some 7km in length and about 1km wide. It is divided by three bridges, the most easterly of which is also a dam regulating the flow of water into the main body of the lake..

For the beginner to the experienced, The BMSTC have some of the best racing instructors to get you out onto the water and compete from Club level to World Championship Events.
Facilities The Möhnesee lake is situated on the northern edge of the Hochsaurland, a hill range to the east and south of the Ruhrgebiet, the main industrial area of Western Germany. The main building consists of an accommodation block, including family rooms, the main kitchens and dining room, male changing rooms and showers, our sauna and a repair workshop.
